Number of testing labs for COVID-19 increased to eight, FIR registered against black marketers

Lucknow, March 26: With the number of patients infected with the novel Corona virus pandemic (COVID-19) has increased to 42 in the state, the government is strictly adhering to the lockdown and acting fast in providing essential commodities at the doorstep of general public.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is reviewing it. Due to the efforts and awareness of the government, more than one lakh food packets were prepared through community kitchens on Thursday.

At the same time this target has been further increased with the delivery of seven lakh liters of milk.

With this, after warning the hoarders, cases against them have started to be registered in different police stations. If it will be necessary, they will be booked under National Security Act (NSA).

Monitoring of 30000 people

Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Kumar Awasthi said on Thursday that so far 42 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the state.

The latest case is of Baghpat. However, 11 patients have been fully recovered and discharged, told ACS, home.  

In this way, 31 people are currently under treatment, Awasthi confirmed.  

β€œAt the same time, the number of testing labs for COVID-19 has now increased to 8. This situation is better than before. The 50,000 people who were referred are normal. 30000 people are being closely monitored. 28 days of monitoring of 24000 people has been completed,” Awasthi told.

18570 home delivery through mobile vehicles

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed today about home delivery of essential commodities. Till now, this work is being done with 6902 motorized vehicles and 11668 handcart vehicles, including mobile vans, mobile carts, e-rickshaws etc. In this way, a total of 18570 mobile vehicles are being used to supply house-to-house ration etc.

However, the number of vehicles engaged in home delivery is continuously increasing. As door-to-door delivery will be strong, people will not need to exit. In this work, 3190 mobile vans have been installed in Lucknow district and 1952 in Kanpur.

Government order issued to use MLALAD

Along with this, the guidelines to use Member of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development (MLALAD) for testing, screening and other facilities of COVID-19 have been amended and orders have also been issued by the Principal Secretary, Village Development.

The Chief Minister has instructed that the MLAs who have asked to give funds from the MLALAD, should get their recommendations at the district level and make the funds available to the Health Department and Medical Education Department. Therefore, now the district magistrates have been made aware in this regard.

More than one lakh food packets prepared through community kitchen

Today, more than one lakh food packets have been prepared through community kitchens.

In Agra, 5200 food packets were made by 15000 voluntary organizations today.

Similarly, a large number of food packets have been made in Lucknow. Instructions have been given about this that cleanliness and safety should be taken care of in their manufacture and distribution. There should not be any rush during delivery. If private organizations or individuals want to take this kind of initiative, then they can start this work by contacting the District Magistrate in their districts.

Interestingly, community kitchens have been established in Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi.

Target to distribute 1.5 million liters of milk

Similarly, 07 lakh liters of milk were distributed today. About 11 lakh packets of half liter and one liter were distributed. This work was done through about 8,000 trains. This system is being extended and soon milk will be distributed in the entire state from around 20,000 trains. Procurement of 9 lakh liters of milk is being done and a target has been set to ensure delivery of 15 lakh liters of milk.

The Chief Minister has instructed the administration and police officers of Ghaziabad, Gautam Budha Nagar and Agra and other border districts those workers who are coming here from other states, in such a situation, catering and water arrangements should be made for these people.

2802 cases registered during lockdown

So far 2802 cases have been registered regarding lockdown in the state. 8649 people have been challaned. 286000 vehicles have been checked and 690000 vehicles have been challaned.

With this, 1.84 crore mitigation fee has been recovered. At the same time, permits have been issued to 16000 people for necessary movement. Six FIRs have been registered regarding black marketing of essential commodities. The Chief Minister has instructed the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police to do joint patrolling for the lockdown.

People are complaining over CM helpline number, solution is being done

The village heads are being constantly contacted through CM Helpline 1076. More than 400 volunteers have contacted 30125 village heads. In this, they have been asked to immediately inform about any symptoms like corona virus and ensure that they stay in indoors if they have come from outside.

In the CM helpline, 503 complaints were received regarding food items, which were resolved. 681 complaints related to emergency medicine were resolved. Similarly, 11021 cases were for lockdown violations which were taken appropriately. 1250 people have also given suggestions to fight the corona virus.
