UP’s per capita income falls below national average due to negligence
The Chief Minister said that with the inspiration of the Prime Minister, we have commenced the innovative scheme of One District One Product (ODOP) in Uttar Pradesh which is part of that dream.
“This was the biggest strength of Uttar Pradesh and the result was that when the country became independent in 1947, the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh was more than the national per capita income. But we did not recognize our strength and we paid the price for underestimating it that as per 2015-16, the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh came down to one third of the national average,” CM said.
Will reach the national average in five years
He added that by working hard, within the last three and a half years, we have succeeded in increasing the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh. Today it has reached more than half of the country’s average income.
The Chief Minister hoped that Uttar Pradesh would be equal to the national average in this case in five years.
He further said that the biggest role in this achievement has been our MSME sector.
Centre also praised a One District One Product plan

After this, in the Union Budget of 2020 also the Government of India arranged funds for ODOP and asked the other states to think about promoting their local product on the lines of Uttar Pradesh.
Ability to become ‘global’ in many UP products
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that there are many such things in Uttar Pradesh, which have the potential to become not only ‘local’ but ‘global’, but we can take our things forward with new technology and new designs in time. Start the effort. This field has a lot of potential and is very potential. We should work on it further.
MSME ‘e-Saathi’ portal launched

He said that the MSME and the Bankers Committee decided together how to do better work using technology in the time of nationwide lockdown and together such large numbers of beneficiaries are being provided all the facilities of loan.
Will have to develop strength to think in time

Why will the statues of Gauri-Ganesh come from China on Deepawali
Yogi said that today the entire world is migrating from China. In a way, they are neglecting the China. The global pandemic that the whole world is facing, everyone is seeing that China is somewhere behind it. Under these conditions, why would the idols of Gauri-Ganesh come from China on the occasion of Diwali? Can the Terracotta of Gorakhpur not supply it? We will supply them designs and they will produce the products accordingly. They have the ability to deliver superior products than China.
Hardly collected 51,000 earthen lamps in the first Deepotsav, then made 5.51 lakh Diyas
