Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath planted a saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day at his official residence on Friday.

Lucknow, June 05: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday gave a message of environmental protection to the people by planting saplings at his government residence.

Today is also the 49th birthday of the Chief Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him over phone for his birthday.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that only by preserving mother nature and environment, we will not only be able to protect the living world but will be able to give a happy and enjoyable life to every living animal.

The price will be paid for the loss by messing with nature

He said that the Corona crisis has created many such situations in front of us today that every citizen has been forced to think that we will have to pay the price of damage to the environment by playing with mother nature.

Inspire to coordinate with nature by protecting the environment

Yogi added that on World Environment Day, we can take inspiration on how to protect our environment and coordinate with nature.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an economic package for the Corona crisis. Through this, many provisions have been made to bring prosperity in the lives of the people. It will also benefit in Uttar Pradesh.

Action plan prepared for advancing organic farming in the state

โ€œAn action plan is ready to pursue organic farming in the state. Under the Namami Ganga Project, the results of the manner in which the Ganga’s avidity and cleanliness have been done in the last three years are in front of everyone,โ€ CM pointed out.

He said that with this, farmers who want to plant fruitful plantations on the ridge of their fields will be made available free of cost by joining them on a large scale plantation campaign in the coastal areas of Ganga in the state. At the same time, on planting fruitful plantations in the entire field, the farmer will be given subsidy every month. This time, 30 crore saplings will be planted in the entire season. On the same day, 25 crore saplings related to fruitful, shady and timber will be planted.

He said that along with geo-tagging the program, arrangements will be made for conservation of plantations and work will be done to increase forest cover.

The Chief Minister gave a message to the people to become aware of the environment and move forward by living with nature.

Chief Minister Yogi is continuously promoting plantation in a systematic way

In fact, the Chief Minister has given a target of 25 crore plantations in a single day in the state. Under this, plantation will be done in the first week of July.

At the same time, 30 crore saplings will be planted throughout the season. All fruit will be shady and timber plants. Special planting program will be done in the coastal areas of Ganga Yamuna. Under this, the coastal farmer will plant fruit trees in his fields and there will be a special plan for that.

The government will cooperate for three years under this scheme. The government will provide free saplings to those who plant saplings without chemical, fertilizer.

Yogi Adityanath has had a special focus on the environment. Last year also, a record was set for planting 25 crore saplings in a day. Before that, 22 crore saplings were planted.
