Lucknow, July 11: Amidst the growing cases of coronavirus across the state, now its infection is increasing among the state ministers and politicians. .
After the State Rural Development Minister Rajendra Pratap Singh ‘Moti Singh, Sainik Welfare, Home Guards, Provincial Guard Team and Civil Defense Minister Chetan Chauhan has been found to be infected with lethal virus. Corona was confirmed in his report on Saturday. The minister had a corona test at the civil hospital today.
Many opposition leaders have also come under the grip of virus. The infection has been confirmed in Samajwadi Party’s Legislative Council member Sunil Singh Sajan. The Civil Hospital report described him as corona positive. Earlier, former party MP Dharmendra Yadav, party’s Legislature Party leader Ram Govind Chaudhary have also been hit by the Corona infection.
However, Ram Govind Chaudhary is admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI).
At the same time, cabinet minister Rajendra Pratap Singh along with his family is also in the grip of corona infection.
At Saharanpur, the condition of members of AYUSH Minister Dharam Singh Saini’s family has become said to be critical. So, people from his family have been referred to Meerut.
After Dharam Singh Saini was found to be infected, samples were taken for testing by keeping his family in home quarantine, after which his wife and son were also found to have infection.
Similarly, after the nephew of BJP MLA Sanjay Kumar from Chail in Kaushambi, two more people of the house have got coronavirus infection. According to the report, MLAโs sister-in-law and cook have been infected with the coronavirus.
Similarly, six families of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya have also been found to be corona infected. These include two daughters, a son-in-law, a one-year-old girl, a driver and another elderly woman living in Sirathu and the elder brother of Deputy Chief Minister Maurya.
Meanwhile, in view of the rapidly spreading of the infection in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now instructed to conduct 30 thousand tests per day through RTPCR method, 15 thousand to 20 thousand tests daily through Rapid Antigen Test and 2 thousand tests per day through TrueNat machine.
He has also instructed to increase the number of beds in Covid hospitals on Saturday.
He said that, infected patients but without symptoms can be treated at L-1 Covid Hospital.
There have been 1,403 new cases of corona infection in the last twenty four hours in the state.
However, there have been 3,847 new cases of infection in the last three days.
Additional Chief Secretary, Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Saturday that the number of active cases of corona in the state has now increased to 11,490 in 75 districts.
At the same time, 22,689 people have been sent back to their respective homes after being cured completely.
Apart from this, 913 people have died due to this virus in the state so far.
