Lucknow, 25 July: In view of the rapid spread of corona across the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now ordered to increase the number of rapid antigen tests requiring one lakh tests per day.
Instructing to develop testing capacity for this, he said that 10 lakh testing kits should be obtained every 10 days.
He has instructed to up the number of medical tests through RTPCR and Rapid Antigen Tests and to take the total number of tests to one lakh tests daily by Monday July 27.
Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary Health sent to Kanpur today
The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlock system at a high level meeting convened at his government residence here on Saturday.
He directed the Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary Health to review the situation of health services in Kanpur and Jhansi today and on July 26 in Prayagraj and Mirjapur divisions on the spot.
He also directed that this review meeting should be convened at a medical college or health centre.
Will review other arrangements including contact tracing, door-to-door survey
The Chief Minister said that by the Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary Health, contact tracing, door-to-door survey, rapid antigen test of people found suspicious from infection, ambulance system, L-1, L-2 and L-3 Covid hospital, number of Covid beds, oxygen on some beds in L-1 hospital, oxygen on each bed in L-2 Covid hospital and ventilators on some beds, availability of team of specialist physicians for patients with comorbidity in L-3 Covid hospital, doctors should be reviewed in all hospitals including medical colleges, the system of home isolation and paid isolation.
Nodal officers should camp for five days in their charge district
The Chief Minister directed that the report of these review meetings be made available to them. Action plan should also be prepared on the points directed at the review meeting. This action plan should be implemented by the concerned Divisional Commissioners in every district of his board.
The Chief Minister has also instructed the district-wise nodal officers in these divisions to effectively implement these arrangements by organizing a 5-day camp in the district under their charge.
Conduct special sanitization campaigns effectively
The Chief Minister said that the works should be conducted effectively in the special sanitation campaign being done in the state today and tomorrow. Urban development, rural development and Panchayati Raj departments should undertake intensive sanitation related activities. In rural and urban areas, along with sanitization, spraying and fagging of anti larva chemicals should be done. Water logging should be removed.
Yogi pointed out that this campaign to control corona and communicable diseases should be carried out with team spirit.
Data feeding does not lead to laxity
The Chief Minister said that works should be planned to strengthen the treatment arrangements of Covid-19. Each Deputy Chief Medical Officer should be assigned separate responsibility. This system should be monitored daily.
Emphasizing the importance of data feeding along with working, he instructed that there should be no laxity in it.
He said that no patient should remain in the holding area of โโthe hospitals rather he should be provided immediate treatment.
CM also instructed to purchase a new ambulance and send proposals to the Central Government for additional advance life support (ALS) ambulance under NHM.
Separate team should be constituted for monitoring the employment portal
The Chief Minister has directed to effectively enforce the system of providing employment to returnees.
He said that a separate team should be constituted in the districts to monitor the portal of employment and employment under the self-reliant India campaign. A meeting with bankers may be held as required.
Yogi again directed the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development to monitor this work effectively and said that all the problems in this regard should be resolved immediately.
Instructions to provide food grains to all the needy
The Chief Minister said that during the last four months the work of distribution of food grains has been done in a transparent manner. Food grains distribution should be executed in a similar way in the coming stages. Senior officers should monitor the distribution work regularly.

The Chief Minister said that all possible help and relief should be provided to the flood affected people. Smooth distribution of relief material in flood affected areas. The animal husbandry department should provide fodder for the animals. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department should ensure availability of clean drinking water in these areas. Chlorine tablets should also be distributed as needed.
