Ayodhya, October 07: On Wednesday, a 613 kg temple gong was presented to the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust by the group of devotees after travelling around 4500 km from Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.
It is noteworthy that Rajalakshmi Manda, a woman from Tamil Nadu, popularly known as Bullet Queen, reached Ayodhya by carrying a special gong by truck after travelling around 4500 kilometres.
However, she first kept this bell in the Karsevakapuram campus. After that, according to the predetermined schedule, Legal Rights Council has handed over giant gong to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust.
The special feature of this giant 613 kg bell is that when it is played, the sound of the ‘Om’ will echo.
At the same time, idols of Lord Sri Rama, Maa Sita, brother Lakshman, Shri Hanuman and lord Ganapati, along with the bell were also presented to the members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust today.
This special gong is made of bronze weighing 613 kg has reached Ayodhya from Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram as ‘Ram Rath Yatra’ after covering around 4500 kilometres and crossing 10 states.
Ram Rath Yatra has been commenced on September 17 and ended on October 7 in 21 days after reaching to Ayodhya. A total of 18 people have reached Ayodhya from Tamil Nadu.
Rajalakshmi Manda, the lady who brought the temple gong said that this journey started on the auspicious occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
She thanked Narendra Modi for performing the bhoomi pujan for the construction of Ram temple.
Ever since the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the huge Ram temple has started, a large number of Shri Ram devotees across the country and overseas are offering different presents to Ramlala according to their reverence. Till now, donations of crores of rupees have been made for the construction of the temple.
