One and a half crore Covid tests in UP till now, highest in the country: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, 01 November: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a strategy should be chalked out to effectively curb the spread of coronavirus in Lucknow.

He said that to stop the spread of dengue in the capital, a cleanliness drive should be actively conducted. Along with this, sprinkling and fagging of anti-larval should also be done regularly.

Yogi directed that action should be continued rapidly for control of dengue and other communicable diseases. Sanitization should be done with full activeness. Similarly, to make people aware of corona, effective use of print and electronic media should be done.

The Chief Minister said in a high-level meeting at his government residence here on Sunday that it is very important to take full caution and caution against Corona. So far, 1.5 crore tests of Covid-19 have been done in the state, which is the highest in the country. In view of festivals, all need to be constantly vigilant towards the corona.

He said that strict adherence to the prescribed protocol regarding prevention of corona can save everyone from this infection. Use of masks, two yards distance, frequent washing of hands with soap and sanitizing can prevent the disease from spreading.

He stressed on making people aware of ‘SMS’ to stop the spread of Covid-19. It has ‘S’ means soap-sanitizer, ‘M’ means mask and ‘S’ means social distancing.
