Suryapet, 01 January: So far, 22 members of the same family living in Yadadri Township in Suryapet district of Telangana state have been infected with highly contagious coronavirus.
According to the sources, three days ago a woman from a family died. A large number of family members and relatives attended her funeral.
Meanwhile, medical health officials on Thursday tested 38 people with samples after a person was unwell. In this test, 22 people were found infected with the virus. All these victims of deadly virus are currently isolated.
Dr Harsh Vardhan, Medical Department official of Suryapet district, clarified that among the 22 people infected with corona, there are no symptoms of the new strain of Covid-19.
The health department told that the reason for the infection is the result of negligence by the family members and close relatives due to attending funeral and subsequent rituals.
