The Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department of Haryana Government has advised that the consumer poultry or poultry products should be cooked and eaten well.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has received information that in the last ten days the village Garhi Kutah and village in Barwala area of ​​Panchkula district nearly four lakh chickens have died in the last ten days in 20 poultry farms near Jaloli.
However, samples were collected from there and sent to the Regional Diagnostic Laboratory (RDDL) Jalandhar from where the report is still awaited.
Anyway, presently the RDDL team has also reached the Barwala area for sampling chickens.
There is no confirmed Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) yet. It is feared that suspected diseases may also be Ranikhet or infectious laryngeo-trachitis.
The total number of chickens in poultry farms in Panchkula district is 77, 87,450 while 4, 09,970 have died.
They pointed out that although the death rate of poultry is currently higher than in previous months.
They cited the advisory that the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has given a standard advice regarding the consumption of poultry in the case of avian influenza, stating that poultry and poultry products should be cooked and eaten properly in disease-free areas Can. The normal temperature used for cooking in India (70 ° C for all parts of food) can kill the virus. Before consuming poultry, consumers need to ensure that all parts of poultry or eggs are fully cooked. In poultry, in areas prone to the above disease, raw eggs should not be used with foods that are not fully cooked before eating.
