Lucknow, 05 February: Kakori police station in Lucknow on Friday arrested the doctor who was absconding in the alleged rape case.
Inspector in-charge Kuldeep Singh Gaur apprised that the accused Dr Dhirendra Kumar Yadav, resident of Amrapali Yojana, Dubugga, has been arrested by the police near Dubuga Kanpur bypass Tirahe. He was posted at Shraddha Hospital, Kasamandi Road.
It is alleged that on Tuesday night, Dr Yadav in the name of help, convinced the nurse for the treatment of his sister-in-law has brought her at his house where, he raped her by mixing drugs in tea.
On being informed the next day, when the victim protested on this, he threatened her.
However, the victim had filed a complaint in this case. A case has been registered against the accused doctor and sent to jail.
