Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise on Thursday as well

New Delhi, 18 February: The process of rising of the prices of petrol and diesel continued for the tenth consecutive day on Thursday. On Thursday, petrol price in Delhi reached Rs 89.88 and diesel price reached Rs 80.27 while in some states petrol is being sold for up to Rs 100.

On Thursday, the price of petrol increased by 34 paise and diesel by 32 paise. Petrol price in Delhi has now reached close to 90 rupees a liter. It is at 89.88 rupees. Diesel is 80 rupees 27 paise a liter here. Petrol is being sold in Mumbai at Rs 96.32 and diesel at Rs 87.36 per liter.

It is noteworthy that this year (2021) the prices of petrol and diesel have increased 21 times. In the last 10 days, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2.93 and diesel has increased by 3.14 paise per liter.

Meanwhile, fuel price reached Rs 100 in Ganganagar, Rajasthan on Wednesday. Now on Thursday it reached Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh too. The special thing is that it is not expected to get relief soon.
