Mumbai, 04 March: The Income Tax (IT) Department has found evidence of manipulation of financial income of Rs 300 crore from the home and office of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and film actor Taapsee Pannu.
Also, during the raid, it has been reported that the IT sleuths have seized Rs five crore cash from actress Taapsee Pannu’s home.
During the two-day raids, seven lockers have been detected, which have been sealed by the department. This can increase the troubles of both of them.
The Income Tax Department said on Thursday that there has been evidence of Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu taking cash worth Rs. 5 crores.
According to the department, raids were conducted on Wednesday at two production houses; two talents hunt companies and Taapsee Pannu’s home. All these people work in group motion picture, web series, acting, direction and talent management of celebrities. A total of 28 campuses were raided during this period including residential premises and offices.
On Wednesday, the IT team questioned Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu in the case of revenue of about Rs 300 crore, but both could not give a correct answer in this regard.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed in the raids that the film directors and share holders of this production house have shown less and manipulated the share transactions. Digital data including three laptops, four computers have been seized during the raid.
