Lalitpur, 28 March: District Magistrate (DM) of Lalitpur district A Dinesh Kumar has been tested Covid-19 positive on Sunday. The first dose of the Covid vaccine was administered by the District Magistrate in February last month. This information was given by the information officer Piyush Rai.
The information officer said that due to the getting infected by the virus, the DM will stay in the home isolation and will not be able to participate in Holi celebrations.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr DK Garg said that the reports of 15 people on Friday, 17 on Saturday and 11 on Sunday came positive. The doctor also confirmed that the DM was positive.
It is worth mentioning that the RTPCR test was conducted by the District Magistrate on Saturday evening after having a cough, however, the report of which came positive on Sunday.
The first dose of the vaccine was taken by the DM on February 11.
