Lucknow, 04 April: The countdown has begun to bring Mafia Mukhtar Ansari from Punjab Jail to Uttar Pradesh. Additional Director General (ADG) Prem Prakash also known as encounter specialist has been entrusted with the task of bringing him safe. Special police team will be with ADG. This team will leave on Monday and will be brought to UP by late night.
Chitrakoot Dham Inspector General (IG) of Police K Satyanarayana told on Sunday that a special team of police will be sent to bring Mukhtar Ansari, who is lodged in Punjab Jail. Mukhtar will be brought to UP amidst tight security and will be shifted to Banda’s jail.
IG told that Mukhtar will be kept in the barrack of Banda jail. The entire outline has been prepared after meeting with the officers regarding how many policemen will be deployed in security. Apart from this, he said that security arrangements will be made within the jail as well as outside. Two policemen and police team will be deployed in two shifts. He said that the list of how many prisoners are still inside the jail, and the list of detainees coming to the jail will be made daily and the officials will monitor it.
Those coming from outside will be monitored
The IG said that the police chiefs of Chitrakoot, Banda and Hamirpur have been instructed to be vigilant. All hotels, Dharamshala, lodges will be checked. All persons coming from outside will be investigated. Police verification of tenants will also be done.
Mukhtar’s new homes barrack number 15 or 16
According to the police department, two security checkpoints are being built at the main entrance of the jail. Police personnel will be stationed in these posts for 24 hours, who will allow anyone to go inside after searching. The main gate will always be closed. There will be movement from the new entry gate here.
According to sources, Mukhtar’s new location will be barrack number 15 or 16. Duty of additional security personnel has been imposed here. After the arrival of Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari, the divisional prison of Banda will be no less than a safe fort.
Mukhtar Ansari will come to UP after 27 months
Mukhtar Ansari will be brought to UP before April 08. In this regard, all preparations have been almost finalized by the Police Department. The special team that will leave for UP from Punjab on Monday will not only have UP Police personnel, but special commandos have also been included. After about 27 months, Mukhtar Ansari is being brought to UP.
It is noteworthy that after the order of the Supreme Court, preparations are on to bring Bahubali leader Mukhtar Ansari to Uttar Pradesh. The Punjab Government letter has been received to Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi. The letter mentions that Mukhtar Ansari should handover the Uttar Pradesh government before April 08. But Mukhtar Ansari can be brought to Banda jail any day before April 08.
New manoeuvre was played during the court appearance in Mohali
Mukhtar Ansari is lodged in a jail in Punjab for alleged extortion since January 2019. Recently, he came on a ‘wheel chair’ to appear in Mohali court. It was his manoeuvre that the Punjab government should not send him to UP after seeing his condition. But following the order of the Supreme Court, the Punjab Home Department has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to take custody of Mukhtar Ansari from jail by April 08.
UP Police returned empty for 08 times
The UP police has gone to Punjab about eight times to bring Mukhtar Ansari. But every time the government there used to make an excuse, the police was returned empty-handed. Many times UP ministers accused the Punjab government of giving protection to this. On February 02 2021, BJP MLA from Ghazipur Alka Rai wrote a letter to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi saying that you and your government have given shelter to my husband’s killer Mukhtar and her son as state guests. Alka Rai asked Priyanka why the killer is being saved by your government? Alka has written a letter to Priyanka Gandhi many times about Mukhtar. She is the wife of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai.
Aafshan Ansari wrote a letter to the President
Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afshan Ansari wrote a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday. In this, while urging her husband to bring Uttar Pradesh from Punjab, she has requested to make sure that her security is ensured, further writing that her husband is an eyewitness in a case in which BJP Legislative Council members Mafia Brijesh Singh and Tribhuvan Singh are accused. Both the accused are threatening to kill Ansari with alleged complicity of the government machinery. Hence, there is a danger that Ansari may be killed in the guise of a fake encounter on the way to Banda from Punjab jail.
ADG Prem Prakash is an encounter specialist
ADG Premprakash has been given the responsibility to bring Mukhtar from Punjab to UP. Prem Prakash, a 1993 batch IPS resident of Delhi, is counted among the firebrand IPS officers. He has been an expert in the encounter.
While at ADG in Kanpur, he held a meeting with police officers and started a campaign against criminals. Meanwhile, 67 were arrested and sent to jail after the encounter. Some criminals surrendered and went to jail themselves.
