Lucknow, 09 April: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that only 50 percent of the employees in government and private offices in cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi will be able to work.
That is, the day the employee remains in office, he will not come to the office the next day. It is a different matter that through technology, he will be able to work from home. These rules will continue till further orders and physical distance will also be easily followed.
The second wave of global pandemic novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is spreading rapidly across the country. Uttar Pradesh is also not untouched in this, especially Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayaraj and Varanasi.
Meanwhile, the health department has become concerned with the rapid rise in the number of corona positive cases in Uttar Pradesh for almost a week. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is monitoring and has also reached out to take stock of corona situation in the three metros.
Along with this, the Chief Minister to check the spread of corona infection, has ordered that 100 percent presence of emplyees in all government and private offices of Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi will be reduced to 50 percent daily. That is, only 50 percent of the total number of employees can be called to work at the offices. Another reason behind this is that more than half of the corona positive cases are reported daily in the entire Uttar Pradesh are coming from these four cities.
‘Tika Utsav’ to be celebrated from April 11 to 14
Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed that the ‘Tika Utsav’ will be celebrated in the state from April 11 to April 14. In this, the Health Department team will go to government and private offices in all the districts and vaccinate people above age of 45 years. Guidelines have been issued on behalf of the government to set up a Covid help desk in all levels of offices of the departments of the state to protect against Covid-19.
He further told that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, only 50 percent employees will be called in government and private offices in the four districts with high infection. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to implement the system in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Prayagraj.
