Lucknow, 10 May: After the condition of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan, who is diagnosed with Covid-19 positive, became critical, the doctors shifted him to the Medanta’s ICU on Monday evening while his son’s condition is said to be stable.
The latest health bulletin issued by the director of Medanta Hospital said that SP leader Azam Khan and his son Mohammad Abdula Khan were brought to the hospital on Sunday late. Azam Khan is now in need of 10 litres of oxygen per minute, while on Sunday he was kept with 4 litres of oxygen.
In view of his condition, Medanta Critical Care Team has shifted him to Covid ICU. He is being treated under the supervision of doctors. At the same time, the condition of Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam is satisfactory.
