Lucknow, June 23: 208 fresh Covid-19 cases have been reported across Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, 302 patients have recovered and gone home. At the same time, the recovery rate has been recorded at 98.5 percent. On Wednesday, Team-09 shared this information to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Additional Chief Secretary, Information Navneet Sehgal said that the Covid vaccination campaign is going on rapidly. For the month of June, Uttar Pradesh has set a target of 1 crore inoculation. So far more than 89 lakh doses have been administered.
He said that on June 22, 08, 24, 8 people got the vaccine-cover. So far, more than 2 crore 72 lakh 53 thousand vaccine doses have been administered. Over 41 lakh people have received both doses of the vaccine.
He said that in the last day more than 08 lakh vaccinations, more than 05 lakh 32 thousand people are in the age group of 18 to 44.
He further told that from July 01, this cluster based action plan will be implemented in all the districts. From July 01, preparations will be made against the target of applying 10 to 12 lakh vaccines every day.
Sehgal informed that at present 3666 corona patients are under treatment. The number of people who have recovered from corona in the state has gone up to 16, 78, 788.
โThe state’s Covid positivity rate is 0.1 percent. Till now 05, 59, 99, 840 tests have been done in the state. So far, 2, 69, 472 Covid tests were conducted in the state in 24 hours. 2 thousand 205 people are in home isolation,โ he added.
32 people are being investigated on a positive case in UP
The team said that following the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, Uttar Pradesh emphasized on testing and tracing. In the state, 32 people are being investigated for every one positive case.
