Krishna Janmabhoomi case: Shahi Idgah committee fails to file reply regarding Place of Worship Act in court

Mathura, 30 July: In the famous Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi land case, the secretary of the Shahi Idgah Masjid committee failed to file a reply regarding the Place of Worship Act on Friday.

He was to file a reply in response to the plaintiff. On the other hand, one of the respondents, the chairman of the Sunni Central Waqf Board, is yet to appear in the court. The court directed the plaintiffs to appear in this regard and fixed the next hearing on August 16.

On Friday, in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division, there was to be a debate on the Place of Worship Act in the case of Shri Krishna Janmasthan and Shahi Masjid Idgah.

However, advocate Tanveer Ahmed, Secretary of Shahi Idgah Masjid, did not respond to the queries of the plaintiffs.

Advocate Rajendra Maheshwari, appearing for the plaintiff, told that he presented his side before the court. Tanveer Ahmed, secretary of Shahi Idgah Masjid, told that he has not filed his reply today.

Rajendra Maheshwari told that now the hearing in this case will be held on August 16. Plaintiff advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh told that the Sunni Central Waqf Board has not yet appeared in the court in this case.

The third request has been given to us to issue notice to the Chairman of Sunni Central Waqf Board to appear in court.
