Lucknow, July 31: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the meeting of the Covid-19 management team on Saturday that the system should be kept smooth in all the cow shelters in the state. There should be proper arrangements for green fodder, straw etc. If there is death of any cow due to mismanagement, then strictest action should be taken against the concerned officer and employee.
An action plan should be prepared for starting the new session.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that necessary action should be taken in this regard for the students who are to be promoted to the next class in basic, secondary, higher, technical and vocational educational institutions. In view of the situation of Corona, an action plan should be prepared regarding starting the new session.
Action will be taken against the service provider if there is no availability of ambulance
The Chief Minister said that there should be immediate availability of ambulances on the need of patients. In case of negligence in this, strict action will be taken against the service provider. Under no circumstances should the patient or his family be harassed. The District Magistrate should keep a constant watch on the arrangement of ambulance operation in their districts.
Officials told the Chief Minister that there is not a single patient of Covid-19 left in Aligarh, Amroha, Etah, Hathras, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Mahoba, Moradabad and Shravasti districts. Today this district is free from covid infection. To further improve this situation, all necessary arrangements should be made in accordance with the policy of tracing, testing and treatment.
Not a single new case of infection in 55 districts
Officials said that no new cases were confirmed in double digits in any district last day. Not a single new case of infection was found in 55 districts, while in 20 districts, patients were found in unit digits. At present, the number of active Covid cases in the state is 712.
24 new patients found in last 24 hours
Officials informed that the mantra of tracing, testing and quick treatment is yielding good results. In the last 24 hours, 02 lakh 51 thousand 265 Covid samples were examined and 32 new patients were confirmed, while 48 patients were discharged after recovering.
โThe positivity rate during this period stood at 0.01 percent. The recovery rate of corona in the state is 98.6 percent. 452 people are taking health benefits at home. So far, more than 16 lakh 84 thousand 973 residents of the state have become healthy after getting free from corona infection,โ added officials.
The Chief Minister said that in view of the possibility of third wave of Covid, all necessary efforts should be completed at the earliest. From the point of view of health security of children, the process of establishment of Piku and Niku should be speeded up.
Officials said that so far the number of paediatric ICUs and isolation beds in medical colleges alone has exceeded 6572. The CM said that top priority should be given to this work in all the districts. It should also be reviewed daily.
Officials said that the work of Covid vaccination is going on smoothly in the state. Last day 08, 21, 468 people received vaccine-cover. So far, more than 04, 76, 220 Covid vaccines have been administered across Uttar Pradesh.
So far, 4 crore people have taken at least one dose of Covid-19 jab. This is the highest number of vaccinations done by a single state. There is a need to accelerate the Covid vaccination, in view of this; continuous coordination should be maintained with the Government of India.
The Chief Minister said that the state is going to get the gift of Purvanchal Expressway by the Prime Minister very soon. Similarly, 6,572 hectares (more than 90 per cent) of land has been purchased so far for the Ganga Expressway. 6,189 crore has been paid in lieu of this. This payment is a record in itself. This process of land acquisition has been done flawlessly. The role of local farmers and administrative officials in providing land for this important project has been commendable. Its remaining works should be completed expeditiously.
