Ayodhya, August 11: The district administration has banned the entry of devotees in temple town from Wednesday in order to prevent the huge crowd in the Sawan Jhula Mela. The police and district administration have sealed all the entry gates of the district. There is also a prohibition on the establishment of shops in Mani Parvat fair. The saints have decided not to take out the Rath Yatra coming out of major temples to swing the Deity of God in Mani Parvat.
Apart from this, the entry of devotees has also been barred on the routes leading to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangarhi. Entry is being given only by checking the ID of the local people.
It is noteworthy that in view of the third wave of Covid-19, the administration has put a stop and the 13-day Sawan Jhula Mela of Ayodhya has started from today itself. On this day, the Deities of the major temples of Ayodhya enjoy Jhulanotsav on Mani Parvat.
In view of Corona, the temple administration postponed the procession and visit to Mani Parvat. Now Jhulanotsav will be celebrated in the temples itself. The latest corona negative report will have to be given for the entry of devotees in Ayodhya.
