Chitrakoot, August 13: Uttar Pradesh Police officer Arun Kumar Pathak, posted in the Chitrakoot district, has been selected by the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation.
Out of 152 police officers across the country, 10 have been chosen from Uttar Pradesh.
On Friday, District Magistrate (DM) Shubhrant Kumar Shukla honoured Police Inspector Arun Kumar Pathak with a shawl.
However, Arun Kumar Pathak has written over 70 books till now. Pathak, who has written many books related to how to improve policing, is an alumnus of Allahabad University.
DM Shukla honoured Arun Pathak by presenting him a shawl in the meeting room of the Collectorate.
Shukla said that Pathak is being conferred with the National Award by the Union Home Ministry for his excellent deliberation.
Congratulating him, DM said that it is a matter of great pride for the police department and administration of the state and the district.
