Aligarh, 08 September: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University in Aligarh on September 14. On Wednesday, CM Yogi reached the district to review the preparations for the arrival of the Prime Minister.
Apart from this, held a meeting with the officials regarding the visit of the Prime Minister and the programs to be organized during this period and inspected the meeting place.
Raja Mahendra Pratap, known as a freedom fighter, journalist, writer, revolutionary and social reformer, went to Afghanistan and announced a Provisional Government for India in Kabul, Afghanistan and himself became the President. Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh also formed the Azad Hind Fauz with Subash Chandra Bose leaving the luxury of the kings, he made the independence of the country the goal of his life, and later the Government of India issued his postage stamp. He was also a Member of Parliament. PM will lay the foundation stone of the university in his name.
In a press conference, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is good news for the Aligarh district. PM Modi will visit Aligarh on September 14 September. The foundation stone of the university will be laid in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh. The university will connect colleges of Hathras, Etah, Kasganj districts of the region with Aligarh. This university will become the pivot of development. Defense weapons will also be made in Aligarh along with hardware. A large number of youth will get employment.
Meanwhile, CM visited PM’s venue. He also gave suggestions while looking at the model. After that he held a meeting with the public representatives. The district administration had made preparations for the arrival of the Chief Minister.
Tight security arrangements will be made in the program of the Prime Minister. During the program, monitoring will be done from ground to sky. A dog squad will be stationed at the venue, which will be capable of detecting the explosive material.
Apart from this, surveillance will be done with cameras. During this, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Minister in-charge Suresh Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Kumar Awasthi etc. were present with him.
