New Delhi, 15 September: America’s ‘Time’ magazine has released the list of 100 most influential people in the world for the year 2021. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Serum Institute of India (SII) CEO Adar Poonawalla are also included in this list. Time Magazine’s list is divided into six categories: Pioneer, Artist, Leader, Icon, Titan, and Innovator.
US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Chinese President Xi Jinping, former US President Donald Trump along with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi were also included in the list of global leaders of 100 influential people released by Time magazine on Wednesday.
In the profile of Prime Minister Modi in the magazine, it has been told that in the last 74 years after the establishment of democracy, there have been three prominent leaders of India. These include the names of the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been described as the most effective leader in the politics of India.
Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also found a place in Time’s leader list. At the same time, Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, which gave the vaccine to the country during the Corona period, has been described as the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer, who took strong steps against the pandemic and then did not look back.
However, in this list of Time magazine, a surprising name is also included in the list of Taliban leader Mullah Baradar. The rationale behind placing this name in the list is that Baradar is the biggest face of the Taliban government and is taking all the decisions. It is because of his decisions that the initiative to grant amnesty to the people of Afghanistan’s Ghani government and establish relations with other countries is becoming possible.
