Lucknow, 29 September: Many countries of the world are now increasingly turning towards Uttar Pradesh, which has excellent business opportunities. In UP with a population of 24 crores, the state government has given a new impetus to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in just four and a half years. From these units, especially rural and urban women are getting new opportunities in business. Today women of the state are coming out of the village and joining the mainstream of employment.
Ashok Aggarwal, President, Indian Industries Association (IIA) said these things. He was addressing a program organized for women of self-help groups on Wednesday at IIA Bhawan, Gomtinagar, Lucknow.
In the program, IIA President Ashok Agrawal said that women are getting benefits directly from the Central and state government schemes. Uttar Pradesh is at the fifth position in exports, which is to be brought to number one soon. Today women are fulfilling their dreams by working hard outside the villages and towns. Central and state government schemes have become a shield for women. Today, the state government is making women self-reliant by giving them special training and tool-kits. Through the medium of MSME and One District One Product (ODOP), hidden talent in each of the districts of the state has got a platform, while business has also got a new direction.
Indigenous products destroyed China’s market
Anandi Agarwal, Head, Women’s Wing said that indigenous products have outperformed the Chinese fringes. Today, indigenous products are being dominated by the country as well as abroad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to promote indigenous products with his efforts. Today the demand for chandeliers and jhalers of UP is also in foreign countries along with other states.
On this occasion, information was given about how to connect the women of Self Help Groups with ODOP through NRLM.
Export Promotion Bureau official Shivangi Singh informed about the W Schemes while explaining the possibilities of export of handicraft products. Surya Prakash Havelia, Chetan Bhalla, SIDBI Deputy GM Shrikant were present in the program.
Uganda and Taiwan show interest in UP
Ashok Aggarwal said that today big countries want to invest in the most populous UP. In such a situation, training programs will also be organized to bring new technology to the state. He said that Uganda and Taiwan have shown interest in UP for import export, investment, technology and training. In the coming month some of the IIA team will go to Uganda.
The faces of women blossomed after getting training
A one day special workshop was organized at the Indian Industries Association (IIA) campus. Under this, 30 women of Self Help Groups were trained to make LED lights, Jhalers, LED bulbs and ODOP products.
Vivek Singh of Deoria gave all the information related to this to these women. He told that till now I have given training to about 6000 women. In different districts of UP, women of self-help groups are trained and motivated for self-employment under which women are given five days training, tool-kit ranging from 6000 to 10 thousand rupees.
Deoria’s jhaler chandelier is also being illuminated abroad
Vivek Singh of Deoria told that I do business of decorative handicraft and bamboo light from VS Energy Enterprises.
He said that the demand for lights, chandeliers and chandeliers made by us is increasing in different states of the country including Nigeria, Afghanistan, and Dubai.
He further stated that 6000 women have been given employment directly under this scheme to make Mission Shakti and women self-reliant. Along with this, training is being given to women under one roof by making grow centers in Deoria and other states.

Devi (Housewife), a resident of Kakori said that rural women are getting direct benefits from the schemes of the state government. Today women are joining the mainstream of employment through schemes.
Gudiya (housewife) of Kakori said that training is being given to us to prepare LED lights, chandeliers, and LED bulbs. Due to this work, we have been able to find a new source of our income for a year in less capital. The demand for all these items increases on different festivals throughout the year.
