Lord Ram temple construction: Plinth work to be completed by February

Ayodhya, 20 October: The three-day meeting of the Ram Temple Construction Committee, which was going on in the Circuit House, ended on Wednesday.

In the meeting, there was a churning to make the temple beautiful and equipped with state-of-the-art security. It was also decided that after the completion of the work of the plinth by February, the work of placing stones on it would start.

Anil Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, told after the meeting that the work of rafts in Ram temple has intensified. After the foundation, the work of making one and a half meter raft is going on, of which seven layers have been prepared. Within a month all the 17 layers will be ready. The work of making plinth will also start around November 15.

He said that in February, the work of placing stones on top of the plinth would start. Stones have been procured from Mirzapur and Karnataka.

It is noteworthy that Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee, was on his three-day stay in Ayodhya.

During this, he held a three-day marathon meeting with the members of the trust at the Circuit House.

On the other hand, in the second day’s meeting on Tuesday, General Secretary Champat Rai had told that the lighting and security arrangements in the temple were discussed. It was decided to improve the lighting system on the birth anniversary, make idols on the walls and pillars inside the Ram temple and use modern technology for electricity. Along with this, it will be modernized using technology in security.

In the meeting of the third day, Chairman of the Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra, General Secretary of the Trust Champat Rai, member Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra and experts from the working organization Tata Consultancy and LNT were present.
