Amarnath Yatra 2019: Civil traffic movement barred on NH till 3:30 pm
Jammu, June 30: A head of Amaranth yatra civil traffic movement will not be allowed today on Jammu Srinagar national highway till 3:30pm. The movement of Passenger vehicles from Qazigund to Jammu will be only allowed after 3:30pm and same will be applicable from udhampur to Srinagar. However the movement of HMVs is permissible after 7 PM to 11 PM and the movement will be allowed from jammu to srinagar and it will be only one way movement from jammu to Srinagar for HMVs.
IGP traffic Alok Kumar said that the decision has been taken for the safety and security of pilgrims.He further added that in case of emergency people can travel through Mughal road.
