Kushinagar, 21 October: Kushinagar International Airport (KIA) has got the code ‘KBK’. This will be the global code. Domestic and foreign airlines have started using this code to operate aircraft.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation issued the notification of the code. SpiceJet is using this code for ticket booking.
Dr Rana Yadav, booked a ticket for Delhi on November 26 that showed the same code.
Airport manager security Santosh Maurya told that this is a global code. This code has been updated in airlines and airports of the country and abroad. This code will be used to book tickets for Kushinagar from anywhere.
