Rae Bareli, 12 November: A video of a female politician firing in the air with a licensed rifle went viral on various social media platforms on Friday. However, this video is being told of Diwali night and the woman who is firing is the Principal General Secretary of Rashtriya Jansatta Dal, Rae Bareli.
Meanwhile, the police are now probing the entire matter and assuring of taking action against a lady.
According to the police, a viral video is of Renu Singh, a resident of Indira Nagar of Nagar Kotwali, which is being told on the night of Diwali. The woman’s husband Sandeep Singh is retired from the army and is currently working in a railway coach. The woman firing is the principal general secretary of the Rashtriya Jansatta Dal, the rifle with which the firing is taking place is of the woman’s husband which is also licensed.
In this case, police officer Atul Kumar Singh told that the viral video was made on the night of Diwali. The matter is related to Indira Nagar area of the city. The matter is being investigated thoroughly. Soon the used rifle will be confiscated and necessary legal action will be taken.
