Lucknow, November 17: Over 4 crore people have received both the doses of the Covid vaccines, while more than 70 percent people have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Uttar Pradesh, which is being appreciated all over the country and the world for its better strategy of trace, test and immunization, has so far topped the country by conducting more than 8 crore 58 lakh tests and 14 crore 37 lakh Covid vaccines were administered to the people.
Not only this, UP is the only state where 4 crore people have taken both the doses. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasized on inter-departmental coordination and daily monitoring to ramp up vaccination.
Out of 14 crore 74 lakh people above the age of 18 years in the state, so far more than 10 crore 33 lakh people have received the first dose, while over 04 crore 04 lakh people have taken both the doses.
If we look at the nationwide status of vaccination, UP remains on the first position. Maharashtra is in second place with 10.46 crore doses, while West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat are in third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
Stating the need to expedite immunization, CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed to focus on rural areas.
45 districts Covid free, active case only 95
Meanwhile, coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is under control in the state. The mantra of aggressive tracing, testing and prompt treatment is yielding good results. In the testing of 01 lakh 49 thousand 918 samples done in the last 24 hours, not a single new case of infection was found in 75 districts.
As per the Covid-19 bulletin, 2 more new infected were found in Gautam Buddha Nagar ( Noida), 1-1 in Prayagraj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Jalaun and Mirzapur. In the same period, 10 patients were declared healthy and discharged.
At present, the number of active Covid cases in the state has been reduced to 95, while 16 lakh 87 thousand 290 residents of the state have become healthy after getting rid of corona infection.
According to the latest situation Agra, Aligarh, Amethi, Amroha, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Badaun, Balrampur, Banda, Barabanki, Basti, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Etah, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Ghazipur, Gonda, One case of Kovid in Hamirpur, Hapur, Hathras, Jaunpur, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Mau, Moradabad, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Sant Kabirnagar, Shamli, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, Unnao and Varanasi districts where no active cases of Covid-19 are present.
