Kanpur, 18 November: India vs New Zealand cricket test match is to be held from November 25 to 29. For this, the Commissionerate Police has made arrangements to keep the players’ accommodation from the ground under a strong security cordon.
For this, 11 circular security circles have been prepared. For security, two DCP level officers have been given the responsibility of this so that there is no chance of any mistake. From inside the ground to outside and the hotel, intelligence will be kept on the entire event.
Police Commissioner Aseem Arun told that, on behalf of BCCI, UPCA Venue Director Sanjay Kapoor and Security In charge Major SB Singh have been appointed.
According to the information received from BCCI, 10 players of Team India will reach the Land Mark Hotel on Friday, November 19. The remaining players of the India team and all the players of the New Zealand team will come to the city on 22 November.
The days of November 23, 2021 and November 24, 2021 have been fixed, in which the time of practice for both the teams has been given from 10:00 to 1:00 in the morning and from 2:00 to 5:00 in the evening. In which both the teams will do net practice at different times. The green park system is divided into 11 zones; each zone is headed by an Additional DCP or ACP level officer.
Greenpark stadium divided into 11 zones
Greenpark ground is divided into 11 zones. In which an inner and outer cardan have been made. Inner cardan is divided into three zones 06, 07, 08 from 01 to 05 and outer cardan of Green Park.
In order to keep the arrangements for smooth running of traffic/parking etc. outside the Green Park, in Zone 09 and 10, and the hotel landmark, the place of stay of the players, has been made Zone No. 11.
