Lucknow, December 14: The session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin from December 15. In this regard, Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit has issued a three-day program of the Vidhan Sabha session by holding a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee on Tuesday.
The Yogi government will present the supplementary budget in its last session. Along with this, instead of bringing the full budget in this session, the government will pass vote on account for four months. An all-party meeting has been called at 10 am before the commencement of the proceedings of the 11th House on Wednesday morning.
The Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Hriday Narayan Dixit, presented the demands for second supplementary grants for the fourth session of 2021-22 starting from December 15, and the budget for the financial year 2022-23 (provisional) and vote on account for a part thereof.
The Speaker said that the agenda of December 15 was discussed in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. On Wednesday, instructions will be taken for the untimely demise of former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Sukhdev Rajbhar, CDS Bipin Rawat and their associates. Vote on Account for the second supplementary demands and income and expenditure (provisional) for the financial year 2022-23 and a part thereof will be presented on 16th December at 11 am.
โQuestions will be taken after the budget presentation. After that the normal program will be completed according to the agenda of the House. A photo group of all the members of the Legislative Assembly will be organized on the same day at 4.30 pm. On December 17, the second supplementary demands will be discussed and passed in the House,โ Dixit added.
In the meeting, Uttar Pradesh Assembly Deputy Speaker Nitin Agarwal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, Leader of Opposition Ramgovind Choudhary, Bahujan Samaj Party leader Umashankar Singh and Apna Dal (S) leader Neel Ratan Patel were attended by Hariram. Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’ could not attend the meeting due to unavoidable reasons. Swami Prasad Maurya, Ramapati Shastri, Minister of State Gulab Devi, MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh also attended the meeting.
Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Principal Secretary Pradeep Kumar Dubey and Principal Secretary Parliamentary Affairs JP Singh and other officers were also present.
