Lucknow, 23 December: The state government has given instructions to Lucknow Police Commissionerate to make new police station Sairpur under police station Madiyav and new police station Babu Banarasi Das (BBD) under police station Chinhat.
This decision has been taken with the aim of further strengthening the peace and order in the region, curbing crimes more effectively, providing a more secure environment to women and general public.
Giving this information on Thursday, Additional Chief Secretary, (Home) Awanish Kumar Awasthi said that the decision to establish two new police stations Sairpur and Babu Banarasi Das (BBD) under police station Madiyav and Chinhat of Police Commissionerate Lucknow. In this regard, instructions have been given to ensure necessary action on priority.
Awasthi said that instructions regarding creation of manpower/posts etc. will be issued separately in these new police stations. With this, the policing system of more and more population will be made more efficient and strong.
