Lucknow, 23 December: In compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it has been decided to prepare training program/manual for regulation, manufacturing and manpower training of drones.
A high level committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Kumar Awasthi in which Revenue, Industry, Technical Education, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Civil Aviation, Director General of Police, UP and Director General of Police (Logistics), IIT Kanpur (Technical Expert) and Abdul Kalam Technical University have been included.
Awasthi said that in view of the increasing use of drones in view of the need of the state in the present scenario, in relation to the preparation of training programs/manuals etc. regarding the regulation of drones, manufacturing and training of manpower, the committee constituted by the above constituted 15 An action plan will be prepared and submitted within the day.
