New Delhi, 31st January: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while launching the campaign for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, targeted the Samajwadi Party (SP), saying that the mafia and goons who considered they to be bigger than the law, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) government of Uttar Pradesh made them understand the meaning of the law.
Modi said that the BJP is expending itself for change in the UP, while goons and mafia are determined to take revenge on the people in this election.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the first campaign rally on Monday after the announcement of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He addressed the Jan Choupal rally through virtual medium.
Referring to the candidates declared by the opposition party in the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls to be held in seven phases, he said that the goons and mafia are sitting determined to take revenge on the people in this election.
Targeting the SP over ticket distribution, he said that the ticket given by these people is another proof of this. Taking this revenge has always been his thinking.
The Prime Minister expressed happiness over the fact that the people of the state are careful this time. He said that he is happy to see that the people of the Uttar Pradesh are very careful and alert from these rioters.
He said that seeing our work and the exploits of opposition parties, their actions, this time also the people of the state are going to give full blessings to the BJP.
Modi said that when he had come to western UP at the time of elections five years ago, he had promised the people that he would leave no stone unturned for the development of the state. In these five years, under the leadership of Chief Minister Adityanath, the state government has made efforts to serve the people with full honesty and integrity and for the development of the state.
