Kannauj, February 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived here today seeking votes for the BJP candidates from Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Auraiya and Etawah districts, said that this time the fight is not to form the government but to form the government with a record majority.
PM Modi said that first phase polls started from Western UP has made sure that, only BJP will come; only Yogi will come.
The Prime Minister made a direct target of familyism on the SP-led joint opposition alliance. Making the allegation, Modi made the issue of Hindu-Muslim, criminalization of politics, the silence of the opposition during the Corona period and the riots and law and order in the previous governments. People of UP are voting unitedly against mafiaists, rioters. This solidarity is in favour of freedom from riotism. This solidarity is in favor of law and order. This solidarity is in favour of women’s safety, dignity and prosperity.
On the success of One District One Product (ODOP), the Prime Minister said that the double engine government has made a better plan to give impetus to the perfume industry of Kannauj, ghee of Auraiya and the weaving industry of Etawah.
Modi said that earlier the districts of Uttar Pradesh were known as goons and mafia, now they are recognized by the name of their traditional industry.
Claiming a massive victory in the first phase of elections, the Prime Minister rendered a message to the people of the state including Kannauj along with Goa, Punjab and Uttaranchal.
He stated that the voters there should also form the BJP government; otherwise their development will be blocked.
Flying from Rudrapur in Uttarakhand, Modi reached the polling station and appealed to the people of Uttar Pradesh to vote for maximum and asked them to bury the family members very deeply.
In his 34-minute speech, the Prime Minister was constantly attacking the opposition and talked about beneficial schemes like Covid vaccination, free ration, Ujjwala scheme, Kisan Samman Nidhi to the public in the public meeting.
Before the Prime Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma MP Subrata Pathak, MP Ramshankar Katheria, Mukesh Rajput, Rajya Sabha member Geeta Shakya and all the candidates also tried their best to create caste equation in their speeches in turn.
The outgoing MLA of Tirwa, Kailash Singh Rajput, raised the issue of Mulayam and Akhilesh’s absence on the death of late Kalyan Singh and made an emotional appeal, calling it a question of the identity of the Lodhi community.
