Lucknow: Work to build Lucknow’s Aishbagh Junction a satellite terminal, begins, operation of many trains disrupted

Lucknow, February 24: The work of converting Aishbagh railway station of capital Lucknow into a satellite station has kicked off resulting in the operation of many trains will be affected from Thursday to February 27. This can cause problems for the passengers.

According to the North Eastern Railway (NER) Administration, pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work has to be done to make Lucknow’s Aishbagh station a satellite station. Due to this, the operation of many trains will be affected from Thursday to February 27.

As per the officials, 15070 Aishbagh-Gorakhpur Intercity Express running from Aishbagh station in Lucknow on Thursday till 27th February and 15069 Gorakhpur-Aishbagh Intercity Express running from Gorakhpur station from 25th to 27th February has been canceled. 11110 Lucknow Junction-Jhansi Intercity Express originating from Lucknow Junction and 11109 Jhansi-Lucknow Junction Intercity Express originating from Jhansi are canceled on 25 and 26 February.

Similarly, 05490 Lucknow-Sitapur Unreserved Express originating from Lucknow Junction and 05489 Sitapur-Lucknow Unreserved Express originating from Sitapur will remain canceled from 25 to 27 February. 05380 Kasganj-Lucknow Special Express originating from Kasganj on 25th and 26th February and 05379 Lucknow-Kasganj-Special Express originating from Lucknow Junction will remain cancelled on 26th and 27th February.

Converted route trains

According to railway administration, 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli Express on 24th, 25th and 27th February and 12554 New Delhi-Saharsa Express on 25th and 26th February, 02563 Saharsa-New Delhi Express on 25th and 26th February, 02564 New Delhi-Saharsa Express on 24th and 26th February. On 26 February, 22537 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express on 25 & 26 February, 22538 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Express on 25 February, 12591 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Express on 26 February, 12522 Ernakulam-Barauni Express on 25 February, 20103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Gorakhpur Express will run on 26th February via the converted route Manaknagar, Lucknow, Malhaur.

Similarly, 15009 Gorakhpur-Mailani Express running from Gorakhpur from 24th to 26th February and 15010 Mailani-Gorakhpur Express running from Mailani on 25th and 26th February will be diverted via Mailani-Daliganj. 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express running from Darbhanga on 25th and 26th February and 02570 New Delhi-Darbhanga Express running from New Delhi on 25th and 26th February will be diverted via Ghaziabad, Roza, Sitapur, Budhwal route.

These trains will run from these stations

According to the NER officials, 12532 Lucknow Junction – Gorakhpur Express will run from Gomtinagar station from 24 to 27 February. This train will not run from Lucknow Junction and will not go to Badshah Nagar station either. 05088 Lucknow Junction-Mailani Unreserved Express will run from Mohibullapur station on 25th & 26th February, 05086 Lucknow Junction-Mailani Unreserved Express from Mohibullapur on 26th & 27th February, 12108 Sitapur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will run from Lucknow Junction on 24th February at night. 15203 Barauni-Lucknow Junction Express running from Barauni on 24th February will be halted for two hours on the way.

Similarly, 05087 Mailani-Lucknow unreserved train will short terminate at Mohibullapur station from February 24 to 27, 05085 Mailani-Lucknow trains will terminate at Mohibullapur station on 25th & 26th.

Likewise, 12531 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Intercity Express will terminate at Gomtinagar station on Thursday. This train will not go to Lucknow Junction station.
