UP’s 7th phase polls (Varanasi): PM Modi holds massive roadshow, pays obeisance at Kashi Vishwanath temple

Varanasi, March 04: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid obeisance to Baba Vishwanath on Friday evening in his constituency Varanasi. He sought blessings of the Bharatiya Janta Party’s (BJP) victory along with wishing for national welfare and prosperity.

To win the political battle of the seventh and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Prime Minister, who held eight km roadshow, worshiped the holy Jyotirlinga with full devotion. Special worship was already arranged in Baba’s golden sanctum. As soon as Prime Minister Modi arrived at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the pundits and acharyas started worshiping amidst chanting of ‘Vedic slokas’.

Meanwhile, when the Prime Minister Modi came out of the temple, he stopped seeing the Damru team outside the premises of Kashi Vishwanath corridor, he himself played with a damaru. Seeing this, the people present there started shouting slogans of Har Har Mahadev.

Before this, when the Prime Minister’s convoy reached the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex, people welcomed him with the slogan Har Har Mahadev, Har Har Modi. The Prime Minister’s costume in Banarasi style remained the centre of attraction among the public present there to take a glimpse of PM Modi.

After offering ‘puja’ at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Prime Minister again held a roadshow.

However, after paying obeisance at Kashi Vishwanath temple, the roadshow of PM Modi will be completed, but at a slow speed from his vehicle, Prime Minister Modi will reach Lanka intersection via Godaulia intersection, Madanpura, Assi, Ravidas Gate where PM Modi will pay homage by garlanding the Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya statue.

After this, via Naria, Sunderpur, Bhikharipur, he will reach the guest house located in Bareka campus. The Prime Minister will spend the night here. On March 05, he will go to address a public rally at Khajuri in Sewapuri assembly constituency from here. The Prime Minister will interact with the enlightened people at Raman Niwas in Mahmoorganj from 10 am to 11 am.
