Gorakhpur, March 17: The caretaker Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gorakhpur on Thursday to discharge the Holika procession tradition which has been going on for the last several decades in Pandeyahata of Gorakhpur. He started the Holika Shobhayatra from Pandeyahata itself.
Before the start of the procession, Adityanath addressed the people. During this, he said that one should not lose consciousness in enthusiasm. Taking care of everyone’s feelings is true humanity. With enthusiasm and zeal on Holi, every person’s sentiment has to be taken care of.
He said that some people abstain from colour-gulal. Don’t apply colour to them. They might have some kind of problem. Somebody might get sick in their place. One should not do any such work, which will cause trouble to anyone.
The Chief Minister said that along with the program of ‘Holika Dahan’, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu will be in the form of Narasimha. God incarnated in every age. It is for justice. There is no need to bow down in front of any tyrant or abuser. It is a pole truth that the unjust and the oppressor always have an end. Our festivals and festivals only inspire to walk on the good path. Vasudhaiv inspires to follow the spirit of family. This sentiment is visible in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This sentiment is reflected in ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.
The Chief Minister further said that the people of Gorakhpur have fought a long battle against anarchy and mafia. There was a strange kind of thinking about Uttar Pradesh. Now she has changed. Uttar Pradesh is moving ahead with development. Every district has to progress.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Adityanath said that casteism and regionalism are not visible in Holi. Abandoning narrow thinking and moving forward with broad thinking, only then development will take place. A smiling Yogi said, “People of Gorakhpur have started playing Holi from March 10.”
Adityanath stated that this election result is not only political but also a result of respect to faith, safety of women and businessmen and prosperity of people. The BJP has got all the nine seats out of nine in Gorakhpur. This is the first time this has happened after independence. The BJP has 27 seats out of 28 in Gorakhpur division. It can be a pleasant feeling.
Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh presented many models during Corona. We were successful in giving 30 crore doses in the state. Now the vaccine is also being given to children of 12 to 14 years. The government protects people from both epidemics and starvation. The provision of food for 15 crore poor is an example.
Taking a jibe at the previous governments, he said that earlier this food grain was not available to the poor and distributed to the mafia.
