LUCKNOW, 01 APRIL: A major monetary discrepancy has come to the fore in the online payments being made by the patients in Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS).
Resulting in, the institute has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees due to this disturbance. After this matter came to light, the hospital administration has swung into action. The hospital administration is getting it investigated at its level.
The top officials of the Lohia Institute have remained silent on this issue. 100 rupees have to be paid online for the admission of patients in Lohia Institute. This money should go to the institution’s account. But this money was not going to the institution’s account and was going to someone else’s account. Whether this mistake was done intentionally or whether it is a technical fault, it will be known only after investigation.
The role of Dr Sonia Nityanand, director of the Lohia Institute in this episode, seems suspicious. After this matter came to her knowledge, she kept the matter hidden.
According to the information received from the sources, all this has happened with the connivance of the hospital administration. This includes the doctors sitting at the top of the medical institution.
Medical Superintendent of Lohia Institute Dr Vikram Singh said that the matter is being investigated. It will be known only after investigation whether there has been a technical glitch or someone has made a mistake.
