GORAKHPUR, 05 APRIL: There are many big revelations about Ahmad Murtaza, who attacked the security personnel of Gorakhnath temple. Now it has been revealed that he was in contact with many terrorist organizations like ISIS and ‘Ansar Ghazwa-Wa Tul’.
Murtaza Abbasi, who attacked Gorakhnath temple, has found evidence of being associated with many terrorist organizations of the world. He had also created an app to connect people with terrorist sleeper cells.
During investigation and interrogation, it has come to light that before committing the incident, Murtaza had seen the video of terrorist Abu Hajma eight times. Apart from this, the video clip of gorilla fighting with NATO in the Arab country was also seen by Murtaza hundreds of times.
He has also been in contact with Madrasas and Markaz of many places including Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Jamnagar and Mumbai districts of Indo-Nepal border. Intelligence agencies had sent a list of 16 suspects to the UP Police on March 31, in which Ahmed Murtaza was also named. He was on the radar of the ATS.
Now the ATS is going to Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj with him, because before the attack he had stayed in Bansi in Siddharthnagar for two days. From here he had also bought Banka, from which he attacked the PAC constables.
Not only this, different teams of the ATS have camped in Gorakhpur as well as Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar and Jaunpur in order to probe the matter effectively.
Arabic language device found
In the ongoing investigation of the ATS, many evidences have been surfaced against Murtaza. The video clip, which is about eight minutes long, was found in Murtaza’s electronic device with the name Abeed in Arabic. The probe so far has revealed that Murtaza may be a sleeper cell associated with terrorist organizations. The ATS is already working in this direction. Murtaza himself is a chemical engineer. He also developed an app.
NIA also started investigation
The investigation of the case has reached Purvanchal and Nepal as well as Mumbai, Jamnagar and Coimbatore. Taking this matter seriously along with ATS, now the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also started an inquiry from its level. In addition to the Gorakhnath temple map, anti-national videos, videos of radical Zakir Naik and religious literature were found by the team from the laptop of the attacker Murtaza. Evidence of terrorist connection with his mobile phone has been recovered.
Murtaza was on the radar of ATS for 21 months
The ATS had been tracking Murtaza for 21 months and was continuously following him. Intelligence agencies had sent a list of 16 suspects to the UP Police on March 31, in which Ahmed Murtaza was also named. Apart from ATS, STF, IB, NIA, five police teams are engaged in investigation.
