Mathura, April 06: The hearing was held on the revision filed in the court of the District Judge regarding Shri Krishna Janmasthan and Idgah case. In which both the parties presented their side before the court for about two and a half hours. The court has fixed April 12 for the next hearing.
Supreme Court advocate Ranjana Agnihotri filed a petition last year to remove the possession of 13.37 acres of land of Shri Krishna Janmasthan, on which hearing is going on. On Wednesday, both the sides presented their side in the district judge’s court.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, Advocate Ranjana Agnihotri, appearing for the side, said that the settlement which was done by Shri Krishna Janmasthan Sansthan with the Idgah Committee was not the right of the institution itself. Shri Krishna Janmasthan Trust did not give the right of settlement to the institution. How can he compromise when the institution did not have authority?
Jain said that he is a devotee of God and he has the right to file suit in this regard.
Idgah Committee advocate and secretary Tanveer Ahmed told that the trial court has dismissed the suit filed by Ranjana Agnihotri etc., whose revision has been done in the district judge’s court.
He said that no substantiated evidence has been presented in the court on behalf of the litigants of the suit. Papers have been filed by him in the form of affidavit. Their (Idgah Committee’s) argument was that if there is any evidence, it should be produced before the court.
The arguments of both the sides are still going on in the court. On behalf of the Idgah committee, advocates GP Nigam, Neeraj Sharma, Abrar Hussain and Tanveer Ahmed argued. Advocate Mukesh Khandelwal of Shri Krishna Janmasthan said that the court has fixed April 12 for the next hearing.
