Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu could not even deliver his customary concluding address after the announcement of the end of the session due to heavy uproar and ruckus by the Congress and Shiv Sena members in the House.

The Rajya Sabha achieved 99.80 percent productivity during the budget session. During the session 11 Bills were passed and one Bill was introduced.

After the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha started at 11 am, the proceedings of laying the necessary documents on the Table of the House were completed. After this Congress and Shiv Sena started a ruckus raising a scam case. Naidu tried to pacify the members but they did not agree. Thereafter, Naidu adjourned the House sine die.
