Pulwama attack accused Mohiuddin Aurangzeb declared ‘Designated Terrorist’

New Delhi, April 11: The Union Home Ministry has declared Mohiuddin Aurangzeb of Jaish-e-Mohammed, involved in the Pulwama terror attack, as a designated terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The ministry also issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

The notification issued by the ministry said that Mohiuddin Aurangzeb has been declared a terrorist under the UAPA, who was involved in the Pulwama terrorist attack.

Earlier, on April 8, the central government had declared Hafiz Talha Saeed, the son of Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, as a terrorist under the UAPA.

Since the amendment of this law in the year 2019, so far 32 people have been declared as terrorists. This includes Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack. Saeed was the first to be included in this list.
