VP Naidu in Ayodhya: Life has been blessed by the ‘darshan’ of Ram Lalla: Venkaiah Naidu

Ayodhya, 15 April: Vice President (VP) M. Venkaiah Naidu on Friday performs โ€˜pujaโ€™ of Ram Lalla (Lord Ramโ€™s infant form) along with his spouse in Ayodhya.

He also inquired about the progress of construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. After this he offered prayers at Hanumangarhi temple. After paying obeisance to Hanumangarhi, the convoy of the Vice President reached directly to the banks of Saryu, where he worshiped River Saryu and performed aarti.

VP Naidu was accompanied by the Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both the Deputy Chief Ministers and other prominent leaders.

Vice President Naidu wrote in the visitor’s book after seeing Ramlala, “My life has been blessed by the sight of Ramlala. Lord Ram is a symbol of our culture, our values โ€‹โ€‹and our glorious history. The life of Lord Rama always inspires Indians, has been showing them the right path. The reconstruction of the grand temple of Lord Rama is a renaissance of the spiritual consciousness of India. I am sure that this temple will continue to acquaint the coming generations with our great cultural heritage.

The Vice President inspected the grand construction work underway in the Ramlala temple complex and the temple site. Many prominent people including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s General Secretary Champat Rai, Trust’s principal trustee Dr Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, Mahant Dinendra Das, Anil Mishra were present on this occasion. The Vice President also posed for photographs with the engineers, employees and officials involved in the construction of the temple.

Earlier, Vice President Naidu was received by Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, MP Lallu Singh, Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay, MLA Vedprakash Gupta and many prominent people on arrival at Ayodhya railway station by presidential train.

The Vice President was accompanied by his wife Usha Naidu and other family members. After a five-hour stay in Ayodhya, the Vice President left for a two-day visit to Kashi.
