SRINAGAR, APRIL 16: The hearing in the case of Farooq Dar alias Bitta Karate, accused of killing Hindus in Kashmir, has been postponed till May 10.

The petition filed by the family members of late Satish Tikku seeking reopening of the case against Bitta Karate, 31 years after the massacre, was to be heard on Saturday.

It is noteworthy that Satish Tikku was also murdered by Bitta Karate during the same massacre. The leader of the separatist organization JKLF, Bitta Karate, in an interview given to a channel in the year 1991, confessed that he had killed 20 Hindus in Kashmir.

He had also admitted that he had done these murders with the murder of his own friend Satish Tikku.
