New Delhi, 26 April: Now children in the age group of 5 to 12 years can also be given corona vaccine in the country. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has approved the emergency use of indigenous drug maker Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin and Biologicals E’s Corbevax.
With this CDSCO has approved two doses of Zycov D for children above 12 years.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that India’s fight with Corona will now get stronger. He said that on Tuesday, the CDSCO approved Covaxin for children aged 6 to 12 years, Corbevax for children aged 5 to 12 years and Zycov D in two doses for children above 12 years of age for emergency use.
