PM Modi asks states for safety audit of hospitals

New Delhi, April 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged states to take special care of health infrastructure. He urged the states to conduct a safety audit of all hospitals from now on and make elaborate security arrangements.

In the concluding speech of the dialogue with the Chief Ministers of the states, Prime Minister Modi said that with the increasing heat, incidents of fire are coming to the fore at different places. Last year many hospitals caught fire, it was a very painful situation.

Urging all the states, he said that we should conduct the safety audit of hospitals from now on, make security arrangements.

While urging states to conduct safety audits in hospitals due to rising temperatures and incidents of fire, he asked states to find ways to reduce our response time and ensure that no one gets killed.
