Lucknow, May 10: Groups of Ministers (GoM) who returned from divisional tours have raised questions on the functioning of the officers in the districts. In the report presented in the cabinet meeting, some groups in their report have told the need to improve the system by redressing the complaints.
On this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the report of the Group of Ministers should be given to the nodal officers of the respective districts, so that development works can be speeded up as per the expectations of the people. Along with this, the areas in which the ministers have told the need for improvement should be implemented.
Not only this, the Chief Minister has given instructions to continue the division tour program of the ministerial groups and to solve the problems of the common man.
In the cabinet meeting held at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, one by one the presidents of all the 18 groups of ministers gave information about the district-wise status of the divisional under their charge. It was told in the meeting that as per the directions of the Chief Minister, the updated status of development projects was reviewed by holding a divisional review meeting during the group visit. Clear instructions were given to the officers for quality and timeliness of work.
At the same time, getting the details of women safety matters, prosecution status in SC/ST cases, police patrolling, child sex offences, problems of businessmen, action on gangsters, necessary instructions were given for better law and order with zero tolerance policy.
The Groups of Ministers also shared the experiences of ‘Jan Choupal’ and ‘Sahabhoj’ during their visit.
According to most of the GoM, there is a positive atmosphere among the public on the subject of women’s safety, better health facilities, rejuvenation of schools and free ration to the eligible people.
The ministers also expressed the expectation of improving the system of redressal of public problems and grievances.
The Groups of Ministers also thanked the Chief Minister, describing the effort of forming the Group of Ministers as innovative for the Mandal tour.
The Deputy Chief Minister who returned from ‘Swasthya Chintan Shivir’ shared the experience
In the cabinet meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also shared the experiences of ‘Swasthya Chintan Shivir’, the 14th conference of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare (CCHFW) held at Kevadiya, Gujarat from May 5 to 7.
He informed that a presentation was made in the camp on the ‘UP model’ of communicable diseases including eradication of encephalitis and eradication of Kala-azar, while the ongoing efforts to improve the health infrastructure including one district-one medical college in the state and the splendid response of Covid. Point wise information about the management was also given.
Various states, including the Union Health Ministry, appreciated the efforts of Uttar Pradesh in the field of health and medicine.
In this cabinet meeting, Minister of Fisheries Sanjay Nishad also made a presentation.
