He talked about big investments in the health sector.
Referring to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Leader of Opposition said that the campaign is being promoted a lot, but the ground reality is different. There is a lot of garbage in every city of the state.
Akhilesh asked to increase the budget in the dairy sector. Alleged that due to wrong policies of the government, the number of cows is decreasing in the state, due to which milk production is being badly affected.
Regarding the power system in the state, Akhilesh Yadav said that in the last five years, no electricity generation work has been done. Due to this, people are facing problems in the scorching heat.
He also questioned investment and called Ease of Doing Business as Ease of Doing Crime. Leader of Opposition said that the atmosphere in the state is disturbed, unless there is peace, the state will not develop.
When the Leader of Opposition was speaking on the condition of primary education in the state, Akhilesh Yadav got angry when the MLA of the ruling party said that he had studied in Australia.
Yadav said that we have studied there, so we implemented what we saw well. If you guys are seeing cow dung, then you are doing the same implementation.
Akhilesh attacked the government outside the house as well
After speaking on the budget in the assembly, when the Leader of Opposition came out of the house, he attacked the Yogi government there too. During a conversation with reporters, Akhilesh alleged that the appointment of vice-chancellors in the universities of the state is being done on the basis of caste.
He also alleged that the state government was doing the work of diversion from the issues. Does not respond to matters related to common people.
Uproar in the Legislative Council
On the other hand, in the Legislative Council on Monday, SP members demanded the re-implementation of the old pension system. When the government refused to accept their demand, they started creating ruckus. Later, the Chairman adjourned the proceedings of the House till 3 pm.
The SP members also raised the matter of arrest and trial of SP workers in Varanasi in the Legislative Council today. In fact, during the assembly elections, on March 8, in Varanasi, the SP had demonstrated against the recovery of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from vehicles going out of the counting place. After this the activists were arrested there.
Dissatisfied with the government’s reply on the issue, the SP members staged a walkout from the House.
