Lucknow, June 02: The third ground breaking ceremony is going to be held on June 3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest in it.
Since the formation of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been continuously working on promoting investment in the state. Investments worth lakhs of crores of rupees were brought by organizing two ground breaking ceremonies in Yogi Sarkar-01.
So there will be more than 100 eminent personalities from across the country associated with the industry. The government expects that the third ground breaking ceremony will fetch an investment of more than Rs 80,000 crore.
Chief Minister Adityanath is monitoring the preparations for the third village breaking ceremony to be held in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Friday, June 3. The program will be held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan (IGP).
Chief Minister Adityanath visited the venue on Wednesday evening. By holding frequent meetings with the officials, he has stressed on bringing more and more investments, so that people get employment in Uttar Pradesh and the state emerges as an economic power. The Yogi government has set a target of making Uttar Pradesh a trillion dollar economy.
A government official said that more than 100 eminent industrialists will participate in the ground breaking ceremony. The government has a proposal to invest more than 80 thousand crore rupees. Therefore, MoUs will be signed between the government and industrialists on these proposals to take the investment off the ground during the ground breaking ceremony.
Earlier, Yogi Adityanath Sarkar-01 had organized two ground breaking ceremonies. In the first ceremony, proposals for investment of about four lakh 60 thousand crore rupees were approved. Investment of about three and a half lakh crores in it has been put on the ground or the process of unloading has been carried forward.
However, despite the outbreak of global disease Covid-19, the government continued to work in this direction. With the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi, the second ground breaking ceremony was organized in the state. In this, investment proposals of more than 50 thousand crore rupees have been put on the ground.
This time around 80 thousand crore rupees investment is estimated. Officials from the local administration to the government level are busy with the preparations for the third ground breaking ceremony.
On Wednesday, when the Chief Minister reached Indira Gandhi Foundation to take stock of the preparations, Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal, Principal Secretary Sanjay Prasad and other officials were present with him.
Meanwhile, the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan is lavishly decorated. Tight security arrangements have also been made there. There will be a tight security guard from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport to Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
